Hi, I’m Keely, the owner of Feather & Flock
At Feather & Flock, we proudly raise beautiful, hardy dual-purpose heritage breeds, including Australorps, Light Sussex, Golden Laced Wyandottes and Welsummers, with fertile eggs available from our flocks.
I’m also a keen sewer and creative designer, and I design handmade chicken aprons completely from scratch, from drawing my own patterns to choosing the fabrics, cutting and sewing every piece myself. I create them with real farm life in mind, making each one practical, unique and made to be used, the perfect apron for collecting eggs, gardening, picking vegetables, feeding animals, cooking in the kitchen or simply just pottering around the homestead all those everyday jobs.
And honestly, you don’t really think you need an apron until you have one… then you wonder how you ever managed without it!

About us
Nestled on 55 acres of bushland and rainforest near Coffs Harbour, NSW, our farm is where we’ve chosen to slow down, get back to the basics and enjoy simple farm life. 🌿 Most days are spent out with the chooks and dogs, tending the garden, sewing, creating and finding ways to live more off the land.
Our heritage Australorps, Light Sussex, Golden Laced Wyandottes and Welsummers are kept in their own breeding groups so we can carefully manage our lines. Each group gets their turn to free-range around the property on a rotational roster, giving them plenty of space to scratch, forage, dust-bathe and enjoy the sunshine.
And when I’m not out on the farm, you’ll usually find me behind my sewing machine, designing and creating beautiful handmade aprons . Each one is carefully packed and sent off to farms and homesteads around the world.
It’s a simple life, but it’s one we absolutely love ❤️
Terms & Conditions
Fertile Eggs: We carefully collect and pack fresh, fertile eggs, however hatch rates cannot be guaranteed as shipping, storage, handling and incubation are outside our control. Eggs are packed securely and posted via Australia Post Express Monday–Friday. Fresh orders may occasionally have a short wait while we collect enough eggs.
No Returns or Refunds: Due to the perishable nature of fertile eggs, we do not offer refunds or returns for eggs that don’t hatch, including damage or delays occurring during postage.
Aprons: All aprons are handmade and one-of-a-kind. Due to their handmade anind personal nature, we do not accept returns or refunds.
